Client: Talita Year: 2023
Forty years ago, the Swedish state decided to categorize prostitution as a business activity, subjecting victims in the sex trade to taxation. However, being exploited in prostitution is not a job. In our campaign for the non-profit organization Talita, we criticized these regulations. Our campaign intertwined the exploited women’s experiences with traditional corporate language, aiming to initiate a discussion and change the current tax legislation. This change would have ensured that the state no longer profited from prostitution. All units in the campaign directed visitors to a dedicated website where they were encouraged to file for change by sending a message to the government, urging a revision of the current tax legislation.
